Valve Automation

Valve Automation

Manual Valves

Manual valves are those valves that operate through a manual operator (such as a handwheel or hand lever), which are primarily used to stop and start flow (block or on off valves), although some designs can be used for basic throttling.

On-Off Valves

A pneumatic on-off valve is automated with a separate solenoid valve and two feedback limit switches for open and closed positions. However, the feedback limit switches can be challenging to align for correct position indication.

Control Valves

Control valve is regulate the flow anywhere from full-open to full-closed and any valve whose closure element has a dual purpose of not only opening or blocking the flow but also moving to any position along the stroke of the valve.
